The situation tests how instrument approach minimums are applied and what can let you press on after you’ve started an approach. Generally you wouldn’t descend below the published minimums if the weather isn’t at least those minimums. In other words, you can complete the approach and land if you reach the published minimums even if conditions drop below the initial minima after you’ve started, as long as you can maintain the required flight path and visual/reference criteria and can execute a safe landing.
